Michael B. Thompson is a purpose-driven leader, entrepreneur, and public servant with a passion for transforming systems through strategic procurement and servant leadership. He currently serves as Chief of NAF Contracting at the Defense Logistics Agency, overseeing a nationwide acquisition program that supports quality of life programs.

With experience in federal contracting and program management—including roles with the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Mississippi State University—Michael has led complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives with precision and integrity. His expertise spans contract negotiation, organizational leadership, and aviation research, with a track record of delivering impactful results in high-stakes environments.

Michael is the founder of Steadfast Ventures LLC, a consultancy helping businesses and government entities streamline procurement, and Ocean View Development LLC, a mission-aligned management and development firm. Both ventures reflect his core values: innovation, empowerment, and transformation.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a Graduate Certificate in Public Procurement from Mississippi State University, an MBA from Virginia Wesleyan University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Administration at California Baptist University.
